51st Project Bread – Annual 20-Mile Walk for Hunger – Boston, MA
May 5, 2019 at The Boston Commons
Will you help me end hunger in Massachusetts?
On May 5, 2019, I will be participating in Project Bread’s 51st Walk for Hunger, a 20-mile walk that raises funds for hundreds of anti-hunger programs across MA. Our group is small, however, we are always looking to invite passionate walkers to help win the fight against hunger! This year will be my second year walking.
I’ve set a high fundraising goal for myself, and I would so appreciate your help in reaching it. Money raised by the Walk goes back to programs that work to combat hunger on a local level, directly impacting thousands of children and families in the state.
$25 serves 50 people a hot meal
$50 provides 5 food-insecure elders with critically-needed groceries
$100 feeds 13 low-income families with a week’s supply of food at a local food pantry
$250 provides 25 food-insecure families with a week’s worth of fresh fruits and vegetables
$500 helps a community open one new summer meal site where at least 50 kids eat free for the summer
Click HERE to make a contribution – even the smallest donations can make a true difference. If you’d like to join me in walking please contact me! Thank you!
