Chef Haley helped my family so much during the transition of moving this spring. She is a talented chef and is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Whether you are looking to make a smooth transition into a new chapter or just want to have delicious food in your fridge; I highly recommend! Bonus points for incredible portions - I was able to serve friends as well as family off of a single recipe. The feedback was everything was “better than what you can find at a restaurant”. My children were exposed to cuisine that I would not have been able to introduce them to myself and liked it! Finally, we had a clean kitchen and no clutter in the fridge. Thank you Chef Haley!

We used The Holistic Trick pre-made drop-off catering for an engagement party at Sakonnet Vineyard and it was so so good! Haley was wonderful to work with, great at communicating and developing the menu and she set everything up beautifully when she arrived. We got so many compliments on the food, especially the buffalo chicken spring rolls! It was all super fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend! 😊

The BESTT!!! Food I’ve ever had hands down especially being in Newport. The chef was SO down to earth and so nice. She was an amazing cook, set up everything and cleaned up everything. I highly highly recommend her. I’m still dreaming about her lobster rolls a week later. She also was very accommodating to needs/wants. we got the chicken piccata which was to die for, scallops wrapped in bacon, which was phenomenal, and lobster rolls. There was plenty of leftovers, so you definitely got your moneys worth, with everything that was included.

This review is long overdue!! We used the Holistic Trick for my sister's bachelorette weekend in Newport this summer. Every single dish was amazing and Haley had so many amazing options to choose from for our dinner party. Haley was so amazing to work with from beginning to end and it was the highlight of our trip. We are still talking about the food months later and had the best time!!

We hosted a dinner party for 30 people and we hired Holistic Trick to cater. The service and food were excellent. Everyone raved about the Morroccon chicken tagine. I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again.

We had Chef Christina do an engagement dinner for 8 people. The newly engaged couple loved everything on the menu from the buffalo chicken egg rolls to the penne vodka and the most tender chicken cutlets for Chicken Parmesan. The garlic bread was amazing! My family wants to get the recipe from the chef - they all said it was the best garlic bread they ever had! It was so nice to have someone else do the cooking and clean up so we could enjoy this special occasion. Chef Christina was lovely and very patient when the couple arrived a little later than we expected! Thanks so much for making the evening one they will remember!

We had the holistic trick cook dinner for us during my friends bachelorette weekend! The entire experience was incredible! From the presentation & the detail to the impeccable taste & wholesome ingredients used to cook the food, we were all blown away! We had so much fun & this was an experience we all will remember. I will continue to recommend for anyone in the area!!!! 12/10 experience!

Our extremely good friends surprised my wife (for a milestone birthday), the gift of Haley coming to our home and preparing a meal for us and another close couple. It was a great evening, and Haley prepared a fantastic 3-course meal. We started off with a Summer Gazpacho, which was absolutely delicious. That was followed by a Moroccan Spiced Chicken with Dates and Pistachios and brown rice, which was a wonderful blend of Middle Eastern spices and some heat. It was an amazing entree. Our last course was a beautiful, individual Fresh Fruit Tart with Vanilla Cream. It included a perfectly prepared French Pastry Cream. Her culinary skills, delightful sense of humor and how she engaged with us, makes her the perfect chef for any occasion.
We are currently thinking about how we can incorporate Haley in some of our future events!

I am already planning how to arrange for Haley at my next group retreat! She is a force in the kitchen and a lovely lady to spend an evening with to boot. The meals she prepped and executed for our group of 15-25 people (group size varied over the course of the week) were the highlight of our time at Cuttyhunk Island, on par with the scenery and atmosphere of a spectacular place.
It's hard to pick favorites but Haley's salad dressings (seriously -- creamy orange blossom, beet green pesto) and chutneys are really special! I loved her almond encrusted curry salmon. Her watermelon gazpacho made it onto my instagram feed and tasted even more delicious than it looks. And the lamb chops!
The best part might be that as a nutritionist, everything she makes is incredibly healthy. I have gallstones that are easily set off by typical meals that are high in fat or hard for my GI system to process. It was a real treat to spend a week having Haley cook and not having to worry about my body feeling tired or weighed down from meals. She cooked for a diverse group of tastes and dietary restrictions (from vegan to meat-lovers) and left everyone feeling thrilled.
