That’s right I said it. Guilt free and Brownie batter in one sentence. How, you ask? Honestly, I’m not quite sure how it happened, but it did, and its so worth sharing!

The Recipe
Makes about one large cup!
- Handful Blueberries
- Handful Kale leaves
- 10 pitted Dates
- 2 Tablespoons unsweetened Cocoa
- Tablespoon Almond Butter
- Hazelnut butter would be yummy. Peanut butter will work if you like chocolate and peanut butter.
- Few ice cubes
- Cashew, almond, or soy milk until desired consistency. I used about 3/4 cup cashew milk.
- Regular milk can be used too.
I have a Magic Bullet, which I love. You may need to blend this smoothie a bit longer just to break up the dates; they are tough to get fully blended! But, this smoothie is great for chocolate lovers or chocolate cravings. And it amazingly tastes just like brownie batter, yet has a lot of great healthy ingredients to get your morning going, give you a boost, or fill your sweet tooth!
